    Driving light specifications

Appealing to the knowledge of this forum: does anyone know what the period correct specifications are for driving lights on a 1968?

I am out a bit ahead on my restoration work, thinking about lighting, and trying to find the best options, and period accuracy, and weigh the two if different.

Original had lovely sugar scoops, which I think I am going to restore and then bubble wrap and shelf - in favor of some H1s, or if unsuccessful in acquisition, H4s.

Wanted to mount a pair of driving lights, but don't know what was period correct.

    Any guidance would be welcome.

    Thanks.

All the information you need is a simple forum search away. There is literally a ton of information already covered in multiple threads. Grab a beer and set aside several hours.

Not trying to be obtuse but, the answer to your question is completely dependent on two things...

One: Is your target to be completely factory correct or period whatever?
Two: Whether you wish to follow the guidelines set by the Country your car was delivered?

Just to help you in your search, try typing the following into Google (the Reg search engine doesn't work well).
    Search: http://www.early911sregistry.org driving lights

The last part can be replaced with whatever search string you like.
    Good luck!

Thank you both. Helpful manner to focus. To the above questions: period correct, for the US market. If it was factory correct, the build sheet I have would have given the answer.
