As far as I've learned, for the most part yes....

However, I believe Bischoff also had at least part of the contract. As far as I can tell they were identical except for the name.
I have seen Bischoff Early mufflers with '70's date codes.

    Someone?

I had an original Bischoff muffler on my very original, barn find 1972 911T with a 1972 date stamp. It had too many holes from sitting, so I had to replace it.

I found a Bischoff. The part number is 901. 011. 08/ 170 and in another area says 901/1.

Is this the correct one for the rs?

Can you post a pic John, the number sounds correct ...

The Bischoff and Liestritz were pretty identical (same spec/contract, different vender)
