FS: '68 black basket weave door panels

SOLD Bought these when I started to re-do my 912. At that point I had not gotten a COA and thought my interior was black. Had 1967 door panels which were beige that had been dyed black. Got the COA and sure enough the interior was beige on Irish green. Started the search for beige but retained these as obviously I purchased them in error. Finding beige door panels is like trying to find a 700 mile '73 911. They (it) exist but not seen very often and never for sale. Purchased some tan/cinnamon panels along the way from '69-'73 models with the hope of getting some beige material, but obviously not matching the '67-68 beige color. Finally located seats but was not able to find matching '68 door panels. Final solution was to order D'esser sport seats and extra material from Italy. Material not available in vinyl but they could roll/imprint the basket weave in leather. Pictures of the '68 door panels in beige are somewhere on Tony Garcia's web site. Beautiful job!

Recently sold the tan/cinnamon to LiveFromNY. Hope he was pleased. Now to get rid of these black panels which are in relatively nice condition. Only problem is that the PO cut a speaker hole in one of the backer boards. Didn't cut through the material you figure what he was trying to do). One panel needs a new backer. One set is 7 out of 10 and the other is 8 out of 10. Still have the pockets and no speaker holes other than the one in the backer board. The spots on the one panel pictured are from rain drops that fell while I was taking pictures. $350.00 for both pairs together. I'll take PayPal and eat the fee. Howerer shipping and packing is extra depending on location. By shipping I mean buying a Fedex box to accommodate large flat content. Cost About $45.00 to ship the last set of panels to LiveFromNY in Texas via Fedex ground.

Had these sold to a nice fellow from England. After super efficient packing, cost of Shipping was $360.00. That killed the deal. Therefore still for sale.

    Thanks for looking again
