WTB: '65-'66 Rear Decklid Grill Parts

WTB one threaded aluminum "rod", two chrome acorn nuts (that bolt the grill together) and one aluminum "T-bolt" to attach the grill to the decklid. (T-bolt found, thank you Stephen!)

    Thanks,

    Glenn

T-bolts are still available from Porsche; not sure about the acorn nuts. the threaded rod is easily replaceable with 4mm threaded rod from any hardware/fastenings outlet (here in Canada I used Fastenal). The T-bolt is around $10, the rod was around $8 for a 1-metre length.

Sorry, a little off topic..... I have taken my grill off for cleaning and don't recall seeing T-bolts. Where are they in the assembly? Photo?

No association, but I did buy from this guy before I realized they were still available from Porsche:

As Steven knows in the USA you can try McMaster (except they don't ship to Canada!)

I also got my T nuts from same seller (901sport) on ebay . I recall his prices were much better than Porsche and I was quite happy with them.

    Hey Guys...

Thanks for all the input and info. I'm in the same boat as Stephen was, rung off rod. I have a T-bolt ordered from Porsche via Pelican @ 13.50 plus shipping although there is a hang-up in the order. The ones on EBay look very nice but I just need one...;-)

(Just got a note from Pelican...out of stock, not able to source them from any of our suppliers, order canceled)

I'm still in the market if someone has a dead grill lying around that they want to part out...thought I would try here before going with the aftermarket stuff.

    Thanks again,

    Glenn
