    1973 RS Longblock - 911/ 83 #663080.... Any Gamblers Out There?

    Pictures tell the story - The Original 1973 RS this engine belonged to was wrecked in Germany. At the time of the wreck the throttle stuck wide open until #5 rod made two nice holes in the case. 7R case, 7/72 dated heads.
    I can make out the serial number as 663080 and can't read the last number. Newspaper stuffed in the ports is German :-)

    Heads, Cams, Cam Carriers, Pistons & Cylinders (maybe #5 didn't survive) should be good. Heat Exchangers are toast.

    Any Gamblers at $3250 shipped in the U.S?

    Yes, that would a total role of the dice. From what I can see the first digit (6) font does not look correct. Not enough of the other numbers are clear enough to tell IMO.
