    FS: Solex 40 PI remove/install/adjust/troubleshoot factory service bulletin 1965

    SOLD, thank you for looking. This is original, it is from 10/65. It is called "Installation instructions for the SOLEX Type 40 PI Carburetor". The first section is about disassembling and reassembling, why you would be doing that in 1965 I'm not sure, but step one is remove the carburetor.

    Anyhow, it tells how to remove it, clean it, then check and assemble. That takes three pages. Then there is a page on adjusting the injection ratio, one on adjusting idling speed, and two on "troubles and their cure". which lists symptom, cause and remedy. Finally an illustrated parts diagram. Nine pages in all, sample scans below. $150 US delivered, $155 elsewhere. My email is cs8815 at aol dot com
