FS: 1968 Porsche 911 coupe originally Golden Green and from Vasek Polack

    SOLD

    1968 Porsche 911 Coupe

    US spec, normal

    VIN 11835418

Not a matching number car - has a 1969 911T engine in it

Sold July 20 1968 at Vasek Polack Hermosa Beach CA

Currently registered in California with both black and yellow CA plates

    Original color Golden Green #62165

3 owner car from Pasadena CA

Mostly rust free - needs some rear pan work but no other issues

    Fuchs deep 6 replicas

    4 speed

This is a very nice project car. It is currently registered and running but it will need work to make it a driver. Nice solid Southern California chassis with only a little rust in the center of the rear floor pan, original rockers in great shape. Only previous rust repair was the front pan which was done well. Only accident damage seems to be the rear latch panel - it has been previously replaced, the work was excellent. This is the perfect car to tear apart and build a light weight hot rod with. How about a 911R replica? Take the car apart for the paint and body work of your choice, add a 2.7L engine, a 915 transmission, and bigger brakes like S or A calipers and you will have a very fun vintage hot rod. This car is very solid but it is not that original that you would feel bad taking it apart to build a custom car with. Short wheel base project cars are getting impossible to find.

    SOLD $25,000 SOLD

Someone in California should buy this car so they can keep the cool plates registered to the car

underside of this car - much better than some of the other SWB projects that we are all working on

What is that cooling unit on the underside? For an A/C?
