    Did Fuch make Ruf wheels?

I have this set of 9X16 rear wheels on my 1978 930 that were purchased from Ruf in 1984 two years before Porsche offered 9X16 wheels on 930's. I was wondering who made them for Ruf? they look like Fuch? I am really curious, any help appreciated, thanks.

Look for a little triangular symbol on the backside of the wheel. Fuchs is German for "fox" and so real Fuchs wheels have a stylized fox head on them.

Looks like DP (Design Plastic) made them. Possibly widened 8X16 or maybe they had a contact a Fuchs to do a wider run of 16's?

The classic Ruf 5-spoke wheels were made by Speedline:

I see nothing that looks like a fox to me on these wheels, they have that grease pencil triangle and other symbol on the back shown in the second picture.

Yes, thanks, I am familiar with the Speed line wheels made for Ruf.
These ones have me so confused because I have never seen or heard of them before.

Don't be. They're made or modified by DP.

Thanks! And it is neat to know that DP was a Ruf supplier.

I can not find "Design Plastic" do you mean "Design Performance"?

    Fritz,

I've seen dp as 'design plastic', 'design + plastic' and 'design & plastic'
