    WTB: 930 turbo

    Ok guys the orange rsr is gone auto kennel Paul and his dad sold it now I'm in the market for the best turbo I can find must be coupe black or marine blue tan interior 1989 preferred will consider 86 thru 89

    We came across a 1988 ocean blue 930 coupe most all stock that Swiss motors in Santa monica calif.does the work on does anybody know this the owner of this car?????or anything about this shop IDE like to see that car thanks. Gary gwilliams1961@yahoo.com

    Drove by Auto Gallery on Ventura this evening. There was a G body turbo in the showroom. Couldn't ascertain what year it was because they were closed.

    Check it out...

    It is a silver '79 930 with 26k miles. They want $70k.

    Looks decent in the pics.

    $70K?!?!?! For a '79 Turbo?!?! That's f-ing bananas! $40-45K? Sure. I can see that if it's low miles and documented.

    Thankfully it's about 10 years too old for our buddy G Wil.

    I have a very, very nice 1987 930 in my PCS facility that is 4 sale. Silver, silver (?) very low miles, : 18K . Pristine . NOT MINE !

    I have a very, very nice 1989 930S at his PCS facility that is not 4 sale (but could be pried away with a nice officer). Black, black 21,000 miles....and very fast.

    Just a few years a go we read the same exact words about 67-73 911S.

    But those were 911S cars ... the 79 Turbo is nothing special. It WOULD have been something special if Porsche stopped making them like they said they would, but they didn't. The 76s and 77s, however, I can see them commanding much higher prices.

    Gary, you should contact Stacy about his '89 ... but be warned, it may cause loss of control of bodily functions at full stick in 3rd gear.
