    FS: RSR "Tribute"

    I've had "For Sate" and now "Available" on the quarter windows for a while and its now time to get serious about finding a new owner for my completed project. A GT3 is on my bucket list and I'm not getting any younger.

    General Description
    RSR replica built by Tom Martinot at Deutsche Motor Sports (Concord, CA). Based upon a 1970 tub that was media blasted prior to welding steel Turbo flares and paint by Cooks Collision. 15K mi. since restoration/conversion in 1995 – recent top end & dyno tuning.

    Drivetrain
    2.8 Engine
    - Aluminum Case (early ’68: 3280343: ’67 - 901/14-10803)
    - 2.8 92mm Mahle pistons/cylinders cc’d to 9:1 compression
    - Twin plugged ported 2.7 heads, S cams & 2.7 70.4mm crank
    - Electromotive Crank-fire Ignition
    - TWM throttle bodies, 3.2 Injectors and Haltech EFI (F10)
    - Carrera oil-fed chain tensioners
    - Tildon super starter, SSI heat exchangers & custom freeflow muffler
    - Front mounted oil cooler w/ steel braided lines & A/N Fittings
    - Top end done at 11,400 miles & cc’d at 9:1 to run on 91 octane
    - Dyno tuned by Holleran: 261hp/219ft-lbs torque @ the rear wheels
    915 Tranny
    - Late ’72 light weight magnesium case (915/02-7720438)
    - 7:31 ring/pinion, Quaiffe LSD & WEVO shifter
    Suspension/Brakes/Electrical
    - RSR struts w/ coilover mounts
    - Tarett Aluminum billet monoball camber plates & front strut brace
    - Belstein sport shocks, 22/26 torsion & 22/22 anti-sway bars
    - ‘87 Turbo front hubs, front/rear brake calipers/rotors & Cool Brake scoops
    - Mercedes Benz 23mm master brake cylinder w/ shortened brake pedal
    - 7/8X16 Fuchs alloy wheels w/ new Bridgeston R-11s tires (225-50/245-45)
    - Optima battery in smugglers box w/ Rennline mount & cut-off switch
    Exterior
    - Grand Prix White, Black Carrera RSR liveryw/ black powder coated trim
    - Steel Turbo flares, fiberglass front/rear RSR bumpers w/ oil cooler opening
    - GTRacing ducktail w/ rubber tie-downs and factory license lights
    - Front/rear tie down loops & rear tow loop/jackplate
    Interior
    - 10K tachometer & dual low oil pressure lights (replacing dash clock)
    - Factory 380mm “R/RS/RSR” style steering wheel w/ hockey puck
    - SRD Recaros w/ 3-point factory inertia seat belts
    - RS door panels, black carpeting and headliner
    - RSAmerica rear seat delete

    Tub is prepped for an OGRacing rollbar and safety harnesses. More pics, dyno sheet and details available upon request.

    "Hotrods" is such a generic term - I prefer "RGruppe" car ;>)
