    FS: '68-only armrests / door handle l+r in

    SOLD!! left + right door handle in very nice unrestored condition
    68` only

    seams are perfect but a few scuffs on the lower side + a small burn mark on the driver side.

    including the undamaged plastic covers,screws and press button,rods and swiffel heads.

    Vinyl is not toasted by the sun.metal understucture is not rotten.

    the donor car was parked for 27years.

    please educate me ... what makes these "'68 only"?

    Because that was the only year that used these type arm rests and the pockets that go below them. I don't have any idea about the price or value of the armrests, but can tell you that the plastic covers that the seller is providing as part of the deal are very hard to come by. Especially in the condition that those are in, ie, without any visible cracks around the screw holes. Mighty nice.

    65-68 all have the same armrests regardless of the type of pocket

    no... 68 has different stitching/sewing thats why the 68S does not have the chrome bezel(does not fit)...will post a pic asap

    68 the stitching goes u-shaped around the push button area(if i remember right it is also a bit more cushioned)
    64-67 it goes longitudional

    i'm probably ignorant, but i can't tell from the photos the difference between a '68 and a '67.
