Can you confirm year 62 too early for 911. I have a 73 coupe.

It is definitely an early 911 door, but pre-72 as it does not have the internal safety beam which 72 and up doors have

72 doors didn't have the safety beam. That came in 73. Maybe some very late 72's had them.

From the door latch that would be a perfect fit for a 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971 and as you have identified 1972.

(updated from early 1965-66 years skinny latch and small screws)

I'm no door expert but having just struggled with a 67 door in a 69, I'd object to the wide range of years presented here. Yes the door itself will fit, more or less. The mounting points for the door trim will not throughout that range though. That I know for sure. Door cards and door handles specifically. I even had issues with the chrome window hardware but that could have been a fluke.
So narrowing it down would help, at least swb-lwb...

Of course it's possible my 67 door was actually earlier, but I got some 67 door panels that fit it perfectly, so I'm enclosed to think as above.
