FS: Front and Rear Hydro Pneumatic Struts removed from my 69T

    Hello All,

these suspension items were installed to my 69t up until 2 months ago.
they have surface rust but are complete, i'm not sure i want to sell the
dust covers but will see what I'm offered for the Set.

these items are very rare are hard to find.

    Offers.

    Thanks lee

    Hi Lee,

What kind of markings do the front struts have? I'm curious how they are identified as hydro struts vs. standard Boge or ?

    Thanks,

    Ron

Those are not Hydro Pnuematic struts. They are Boge 69 911T/912 front struts and rear shocks. They have some kind of aftermarket insert in the front struts, though.

    Regards

I was told they were but I may be wrong, I will check the markings.

    Thanks for the message.

What is the distance between the brake caliper mounting ears?

Hydropneumatic struts used the larger 3.5" spacing for S calipers. Standard Boge struts would have 3" spacing for the smaller calipers.

    Lee,

Check the photos on my Hydropneumatic Strut link below.

The top of the strut looks different from your struts. The Hydropneumatic struts are sealed unit and you normally can not install new inserts into the strut housing. If you can unthread the cap on your struts, then you probably have conventional struts.

Does this picture help in anyway, I'm no mechanic and fairly new to this. I will look for markings tomorrow as its 2300 hours here.

Let me know if I can help.
