Received brake hoses from a reputable vendor. Fronts marked "OEM", have a white stripe, and dark-steel fittings. Rears say "aftermarket", have no stripe and yellow zinc fittings. Which, if either, is correct (as original)? (Sept '66 build '67)

Does it actually say OEM and aftermarket on the hoses?? Original hoses as I remember them have no writing or stripes on the hose, and yellow colored end fittings, I think this dates back to the 356 hoses.

here are some pics of brake hose removed from a 67 911, ate is marked on outer hose,

No, the packaging was marked "OEM" and "aftermarket". I cleaned up an old hose and found "Ate" embossed on the rubber hose (as above), but no stripe, and what appear to be yellow-plated ends. I'll settle for new ones that look close to that. Thanks, guys, for the reply, and for the photo.

You probably have to find NOS hoses, I think the current Ate hoses are different from originals.
Yes, they are a bit different. I really don't want to trust even new, old rubber hoses on a driven car. Since I'm not going concourse, I'm thinking of something close in appearance will do me. Thanks again.

As a concour judge I can tell you that I personally would not count off for an updated brake hose, that is a safety item, as are seat belts, we judges are not supposed to 'see' that. So go ahead and show it
