    Hydro Pneumatic suspension

A friend of mine is looking at and E. He says it has the hydro pneumatic suspension. I thought they were only installed on T models.

Does anyone know the deal with this?

From '69 to '72 it was standard equipment on E's not T's........

Man, I can't believe there are many of those hydropneumatic suspension set-ups surviving. I converted our '70 E in 1973! Maybe you better fix it and keep it original, along with the 14-inch alloys and 185x14 tires (just joking--but not totally). Otherwise, the world will have lost another automotive landmark, and no enthusiasts will have ever seen one. Seriously, if it's a nice car otherwise, don't let the hydro deal stop you; use it as a bargaining tool. It's relatively easy to convert.

I could not believe that this E still has it. Most ripped it all out as it was never a well regarded set up. I told him to swap out the suspension and to just put the original stuff in a box for the future.

    You are dead on Frank!
