Paco, have you looked under the dash ? What about the vin in the front ? It has a Valencia plate, its easy to find out thru Trafico.

Car has Customs VIN numbers in Spanish Data base TPC- 118-18-MS Obviously its not a factory VIN, car was auctioned by goverment for any reasons and fitted with new VIN that was not a factory VIN, model in Spanish database is "Porsche SG Competicion" so car was in 16 March 1983 when was registered in Spain a Race/rally car, I have found out car use a 2.7 Bosch Mechanical fuel injection at the time when was rallyed by Paco Ortí, so my doubt is it was a Carrera 74 with a 911/83 engine? (same as 911 carrera RS 73´) or it was a standsr or S model with Modify engine, In its electric wiring has no rest of CIS wiring or installation so its a mistery, only some who knows a lot will find out, please help.

Under the dash the number is the one showed in the first pic 1043616, at the factory it was a short number, not the vin but was related, that´s why I can´t find out wich model it was, and the complete VIN number.

Yes, definitely a '74 coupe body. Only the Factory archives will tell you the VIN from the seven digit production number. The paint tag shows this car was originally Grand Prix white and was painted in the '8' location with incidently was the location a large number of '73 Carreras were painted also.

Do you have any interior photos that show the rear center tunnel area where the access opening is to the shifting coupler? I am curious if this chassis has the rear torsion tube brace that was used on the '73 Carrera.

That is very little to go on. It is not one of the RS production #'s that I have, so it could be a 911 or 911S. The factory is not willing to look up a VIN based on the production #. Is there no trace of the VIN where it is stamped on the body? The aluminum data tag is also missing?
