    FS: Restored H1's

    ** SOLD **

This set has been restored to a high level.

I managed to obtain a number of H1 cores and I've had the reflectors "reslivered". A bit of a misnomer, as modern technology is vapor deposited aluminum. The reflectors were first sent to a plater for stripping, copper plating, nickel plating and polishing. They were then sent to another company for the aluminum plating. They turned out beautifully - very reflective and luminous and of course the aluminum will never tarnish. There is a slight difference from the originals on the back, as the entire reflector is plated with aluminum including the back (to a lesser degree than the front). Actually looks nice, but differs from the original brown tone. And of course isn't visible when mounted. Here's a picture of one set of reflectors prior to assembly:

New lenses, rechromed trim rings. Original long adjustment screws with tight slots, new short adjustment screws, secured with lock nuts, all work well including small reflector adjustments. New mounting screws.

Housings are original in excellent condition and not repainted. One label is original, the other is a reproduction (I will include an extra reproduction label if you would like to match them). New bulbs of course.

    $1,180.00 + shipping

These have 55/100 bulbs and I recommend using a relay kit. I have one available for $75.00 that has everything you need except wire.

    Thanks,
    John

Bump for anything built (or restored) by John - I have a set of H1's from him and they are fabulous, as are the other parts purchased from his treasure trove. These look even better!
