    2013 SOVREN Historic Races. July 4 -6. PIR.

    Too many very cool cars to do justice with only a few pics, but here's a sample. Full disclosure - I'm not the world's best photographer. Brian Redman took the 917 out on the track for a few laps along with a few other very nice cars. They were obviously being careful, but he and the others had their foot in it more than just taking a couple of parade laps.

    PS: The track announcer said the 917 belonged to the Craig McCaw collection. Last I heard, #20 belonged to Jerry Seinfeld. Anybody know for sure?

    The 917 does belong to the McCaw collection, I did the PPI on it back in the late 90's when it was purchased from the Otis Chandler collection. Great story for another day.
