Early SWB non adjustable upper strut mount pictures

Can anyone provide some pictures, or a link to pictures, of the early, non adjustable front strut mount sheet metal.
I am working inside the front trunk and stripping back the strut tower area and the way mine is fabricated looks pretty funky and I have not been able to track down pictures of any other early cars for reference.
This is about all I could find from a CPR resto picture and to me this also shows the area looking a bit dodgy?Name: 1965 911.JPG

if it looks dodgy ... it is correct.same on my 65 and all others i have seen.
someone told me that they had to cut and weld in this area even after assembling the car in the factory....in order to get the right wheel alignment--this less-than-ideal-solution is also mentioned in mr.ferdinand piechs book "autobiographie" were he wrote that he hated mr.komenda (head of Porsches body department at that time) for this.

after piech took over control he immediatly changed it.

    Excellent, thanks.
Mine is not a Karman but certainly the explanation and images have reassured me.
