    WTB: 1967 911 Coupe

I am looking for a special car, prefer factory greys but will consider any color. The car will be restored so it can be a driver or project, with as minimal rust as possible. Perhaps can go for a decently priced S but mostly looking for a standard coupe. Must be numbers matching between 305101 and 408523 (ie the door stamps, engine and trans should match the car).
Anyone have anything or know of a car?

For those of you who have answered with an authentic and honest car, I really appreciate it. That would be 1.
For the rest of you who are trying to extort a deposit for a 912 turned into a 911S, or 3 year old photos of a car that used to be for sale and now you are using to try to get an internet deposit before you disappear, or know of a cousin's car that you can go look at for a $1000 fee up front, or have that original paint car but the color doesn't match the COA (??)...no thanks.
Is it just me, or is the early 911 world going to hell in a hand basket? I have this feeling like the whole "industry" is like a snowball going downhill at 100 mph and picking up steam. As values go up (let's be truthful, mostly for the S cars), everyone is trying to pick off the buyers with one scam or another which will ultimately lead to NO ONE wanting to buy an early 911 because they can't trust the seller. Those sellers with integrity in this market are nowhere to be found, drowned out by the noise and waiting for someone to share in their Early 911 history over a cup of coffee and how long they owned their special car.
Slow down and get back to the basics people, before we scare off a whole generation.
