That Little Shop in Euless, Texas

Just returned from a marathon round trip from Knoxville, TN to Euless, TX! The reason? An elusive stumble that just would not go away, and whose fix eluded all who tried (and there were several). An opportune time presented itself to take the 'E' to Mayo Performance in Euless, to get it repaired, and repaired correctly. They did...and WOW!!! The throttle response, the engine characteristics, the performance...all the way the good Doctor planned for it to be back in '72. Ed Mayo laid his hands on the unit and resurrected the MFI to the way we like for the MFI to act. The entire team at Mayo Performance (817.540.4939 / mayos@imagin.net) were outstanding! Now, if I could only get them to move a little farther east...

Just another day at a place that "places" quality work, integrity and above all customer satisfaction in front of things like "pumping the bottom line".

    Refreshing, I imagine.

I attended the MFI tech session presented by Ed Mayo at the 2010 Porsche Parade in St. Charles, IL. If any other MFI Porsche owner had seen this presentation, there would be a line of MFI Porsches in front of Ed's place in Dallas. Good move, Vic!

    Way to go, Professor Mayo!

Tom Petruska (?), the lead mechanic at Mayo, is incredible in both building and tuning MFI motors.
They took care of my 2.7 MFI for many years.
A great shop with great people.
Yeah....if only they were a little closer to Portland, Oregon.
