    Extracting an SWB Wind Wing

Has anyone had success removing an SWB wind wing without removing the door frame? The Haynes Manual says that you can. The upper hinge is off, but I cannot get the pivot on the base to release while pulling upward. I've loosened the pivot clamp bolt inside the door. I realize there is cupped spacer as well as C-clip on the pivot that I cannot see that I'm sure are keeping the wind wing from releasing.

Most people remove the entire frame, you would be the first to accomplish this without among the six or so threads I have read. I asked Ed about it, he says he takes the frame out.

I hope you do, however, because I'm interested in hearing how it's done, I need to change both seals.
