Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 v 3.0L 1975

Looking at buying a 911 Carrera 1974-1976 which was the better car , the 2.7 or the 3.0L?
prefer the non Wail tail option

Both great cars. I think the throttle response from the 2.7 mfi makes it slightly more exciting, but be prepared to pay for it!
Isn't there a nice C3 with no tail for sale up your way?

The European version of the 2.7 Carrera (built from 1974-1976) is - except from its impact bumpers - almost identical to the 2.7 Carrera RS. The 911/83 engine is one of the most sensational engines Porsche ever built. So when you can get one for reasonable money, I would try and buy that one. The USA version looks almost the same, but has a less powerful engine. The 3.0 Carrera is a nicer car then the 3.0 SC that came later though, and far more affordable then a 2.7 Carrera with it's incredible MFI and incredible engine noise.
