Could someone please tell me if this is an original or repro? (the center crest is a plastic/rubber compound).

I don't now that I've ever seen a foam center before. Sure looks old though. Other than the crest piece (which I can't comment on), everything looks original to me.

Thanks for the reply's.
Not seeing one of these in person before, I had thought they were leather center from the pictures on the internet.
Was there a change from this style above to leather or are they all ment to be non leather?

took apart many if these. that one is factory .. but normally its yellow formation
and the leather ones are on metal plate glued with thin yellow foam fabric.
dont know the swtich period

I have seen 3 variations of the leather hockey puck backing/padding. I'm not sure of the correlation to years of manufacture, but the last foam one I saw like in the photo above was off a 1968 year car.
