New to early cars, have a 90 % original 72 t. Would like to carry an extinguisher for peace of mind. Any suggestions on a period correct looking model, and installation ideas ? Is there a seat mount for regular seats? Thanks for the help.

Thanks guys, a few weeks ago when the PO brought the car over for me to look at, he parked on my drive and immediately I heard fuel hissing on the heat exchangers. A hose had come loose. Fortunately he lives less than a mile from my house and the car did not get that hot. Very lucky.
I have carried an extinguisher in nearly all my P Cars, I can't imagine watching my own carbecue and being helpless.
Me too . outta all the cars ive owned the "AIR COOLED" 911 just feels right with the fire extinguisher inside for some reason ..
But i am sick of them flopping around too thanks for the link .
I've got the BK mount in my car and think its a good way to go. I then added an H3R extinguisher like the one here.

My car is very period correct, but I make an exception for the extinguisher. I'd rather put out a fire than look cool.
Be sure to get a "clean" agent extinguisher like halotron or this one. The dry powder type will ruin your car even if it does put out the fire. One more piece of advice is to get the 2.5lb (larger) version. I've been told that the dinky ones don't have the capacity to put out a real fire.
Welcome to the forum and good luck!
