Wondering if anyone ever came up with any Tan carpet. I need a full set but if someone had some original pieces I could piece together enough to fill in what I am missing from original. Thx

Here is a pic of my carpeting. Not sure if the same as Randy's. My car is a 1973 911S produced 6/73. Please excuse the dirt. That was taken before I owned the car.

    Mark,
Yours is the Brown carpet set, its slighty faded due to Sunlight/Wear/Age. Autobahn/Tony has a 99% match to this material, just more plies/material knitted in the carpet per square inch.
I have matched it to a NOS sill piece and had him make a carpet set for my '73 911S. Not sure if he still has enough of the material to do a full set, but you can alway's try.
Here a post on what I did to get the factory match: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...t=brown+carpet

Alex, your right. I pulled my seats today and looked at some of the carpet that never saw daylight and it looks just like the brown you have. I will contact Tony to see what he has. Thanks. Did the mats you had made have the dotted rubber under the carpet?

Its not rubber, but Tony does offer that as and add on option to his carpet sets I just had him make me a 73 set with the pimpled backing.

Should be on floor mats front and rear and on the smaller piece under the pedals

Ok, so if not "Rubber", what is the material, just for Nerds sake? Yes under the mats only.
