    Orange foam heater tubes

In the final stages of reproducing and there seems to be discrepancies in regard to color.

After surveying a butt load it would appear that originally they were a lighter color of orange than the 40+ year old ones we are all used to seeing. WHICH begs the question: Do we color them like they're supposed to be or how people "expect" them to be? May do two versions but would really like to set a standard now.

Any photos out there of new ones as they appeared back in the day?

    Many thanks.

Now why would I show you what I have? I don't know too many product development guys who would grant such a request. FOCUS Curtis, FOCUS; this conversation is about color.

And trust me (and Eric will confirm), these projects are a labor of love with little hope of breaking even for several years. I am certainly not in it for the fame and fortune. If someone else out there is also working on these tubes, I would love to compare notes. Confidentially.

I need some of these and will bow to the experts as to the colour... I'm thinking that the patina'd version will be the most popular. With oak furniture, most people like the dark, aged colour rather than the light new colour... but I am excited that I will be able to replace my missing one and the crumbling other!
