is there a book of factory tools like this ?

VW had a book with blueprints on making special tools locally , just wondering if Porsche did the same thing ?

I bought one and had it delivered last week. It's bolted up to my car right now. The thing is sweet! Bravo, Stoddard!
Can't wait until the kids get back to school and bogged down with homework so I can get back in the garage.

Someone here was making a repro of an original as well.

Doing a search in the Reg will turn up the thread.

This is not something that very many people need...

If you have a shell that's just come off a full jig, or that you're confident is within the original manufacturing specs per the Workshop manual, then it's quite easy to make your own (see post at the bottom of page 5 on my UK restoration thread http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/vie...39755&start=60)

For UK readers I'm happy to loan this one out for a charity donation.
