    minneapolis early car folks

    I know bob. but thats about it. Do folks get together? should we? I havent seen anything pop up on the forum since I've been on here concerning this area...?

    There is a monthly informal meeting of Porsche folks at Club Jager on Washington Avenue in Minneapolis. Club Jager is on the west edge of the warehouse district. It is informally known as Third Thursday as it is on the third thursday of every month, during happy hour. The next one will be September 19th.
    The local Porsche club of America region, Nord Stern, is very active. If you aren't a PCA and Nord Stern member yet, you should join if for no other reason than to get the local newsletter, the NORD STERN.
    Mark Bouljon, the parts manager at Porsche Minneapolis (formerly Carousel) is organizing the second 901-O-Rama on Sunday, September 15th from 10-2 PM at Burris Park in Marine on the St Croix. The first 901ORAMA was a great event in 2011 with a good turn out of long hoods including a real 73 RS LWT plus our 73 race car plus a decent turn out by the 356 guys.
    Nord Stern has an email group that is fairly active about Porsche activities. You need to be a Nord Stern member to subscribe - "clubtalk@nordstern.org"
