Need more power from headlights 1967 911

I am looking to improve the power from my 1967 911 keeping the original lenses. I have a car with what I believe are original US headlights. Is there an easy way to do this?

Do I have to buy something like this?

Frank, yes that is what you need BUT see the related product in the lower part of the ad, the H4 is a very popular light with many bulb combinations available. I am not familiar with the HB2 bulb listed. the Hella H4 replacement for US cars is very good, I have them in my wife's MGB and the 64 Intl Scout.
The H4 bulb is very available and in many wattage's, I like 55 / 100 bulbs in cars and bikes, aimed properly you will not have any issues with the 55 low beam. I forget what the wonderful DOT allows for the cars I think it used to be 50W high beams maybe 55, they have a great pattern of light on the road.

ABOVE ALL ADD RELAYS with a upgrade or even for stock lights. the Porsche pulls all lighting thru the light switch and they get hot and many electrical fires start there. A set of relays would make the DOT bulbs better due to more direct current for the bulbs.
On the relays there is a guy in here as well as on pellican that makes a great (read simple) kit to relays to the 911, and you can also try Danial Stern Lighting for many lighting and relay options including the Hella replacement lights and many bulb combinations.

Great project, many accidents are from out driving your lights.

Just to close the loop, I was too lazy to go to the garage the other night, The Kit I referenced is made by Marcus Sucro you can find him at flat6turbo@rennlist.net

Good guy, not that other options are not.
