    Two of these critters in NorCal these days -- this one (owned by Greg Pickett) and the purple Van Merkstein car (owned by Bruce Canepa). Both owners keep the cars in race-ready condition and have been known to take them out to play on the track together.

    What a beautiful dead-end the RS Spyder was; but it was a shame that Porsche felt constrained to only build a P2 so as not to draw ire from Beurly Piech. Now he's back in charge of Weissach (and Zuffenhausen), and they have a proper P1 in development. Unfortunately, NA$CAR's take-over of IMSA means that it won't race here -- except maybe at a WEC round in Austin.

    I caught that P2 car sitting there as well Peter....

    Potentially the fastest thing at the track all weekend......
