how much for a set of 67/68 brake calipers

    hello

i do have a very nice set of four 68S brake calipers 68S.
they have just been overhauled (by the guy who does them for Porsche classic in stuttgart) and look nice.
including the correct mounting hardwear and the correct ate dust caps etc.

    how much are they worth?

    thank you

I thought 67S and 68S calipers were different.

I think the fronts aren't too difficult to get, by memory they are just the regular M 3" caliper with a spacer.

The rears are a different story because they are 38mm bore + spacer as opposed to regular L calipers which have 35mm bore.

Last restored set of wide-L rears that sold here was offered around $1000.

    Franz,

Would you mind measuring the thickness of the dog-bone rear spacers, please? I need to fabricate a pair as I haven't been able to find them. Does your restorer have them?

    Very much appreciated.

I think somebody made some conversion kits, but of course you'll need longer hardware to bolt the halves together.
