    Seat rail issue/loose seat

The passenger seat, which is a Recaro sport seat is loose. The repair shop said it is because the seat rails do not have the black inserts which allow the seat to be snug. I never knew the rail had this. The bolts are all tight.

    I think the part numbers for the rails are 911 521 194 00 and 911 521 196.00.

Does anyone know if there is a part I can purchase to repair this?

    Thanks,

I may be wrong, but it's just steel to steel, maybe the later cars have a plastic slider.

My 71 with standard seats have little nylon sliders on the rails. Replacing them removed side to side slop. I got them from Stoddard.

That may be the solution or are you talking about the plastic pieces are white as suggested

The rubber block at the back of the tilt mecanism does help to keep the seat
tight when in the locked down position.

The runners also run on 4 nylon sections per rail. We make these if it helps
