Well, I've always wanted to try one of these as I have a client who has a medical condition and can only drive automatics but loves old Porsches. I was surprised at how easy and fun they are to drive. What a great touring experience. Paul just got the car on consignment from an R Gruppe friend of his. I got to meet the owner at Treffen and he is a cool down to earth guy who seems to take care of his early cars. It will be interesting to see how the market plays out on this car...

We just had TLGauto.com of North Hollywood remove the sportomatic, repair the throw-out bearing, inspected the clutch/the rest of the system, and reinstalled it. Tony said it was one of the nicer driving “sporto’s” he’s driven.

    Price is $49,990.

My dad even liked driving it back.

Paul sold the car to a local guy who is good friends with Grago and Sofka through the VW world. You will see him hanging out at our local p-car stuff and hopefully R Gruppe next year. I'm going to install some H4s for him this week.

Cool car and thanks for buying it before I did.

I hate being next door to Paul. It's like having a drug dealer share your house
