    Watching season one on dvd. Wow, this is the proto-Magnum PI !

    Line from one of the episodes, and this was 1974, "art is a good inflation hedge". Yuk yuk.

    Even a Ferrari racecar in oe of the episodes, and 914s in the scenery. Remember james Garner raced in Sebring in real life

    Garner was a car guy and one hell of a nice guy. Wallace Beery Jr. and Stuart Margolin made that show great entertainment...

    His IS still around, lives around the corner. He's been pretty sick lately, but he's still with us.
