    Broken Ignition Switch

The tumbler on mine is pulling out with the key. I was wondering what people are doing for replacements. The new replacements I have seen have a black face on the tumbler. My old one is chrome and would prefer to keep the original look.

I just had to replace my ignition switch because of a similar problem that your having, and yes Larry, the new one came with a black face. I also would have liked to keep it chrome but for now it'll stay the way it is. I wouldn't want to try to swap it myself but maybe a locksmith can help you.

BTW, if you order a new ignition switch order 2 new blank keys along with it because the keys that come with the switch are very small and extremely difficult to turn while it's in the ignition.
