    WTB: 2005 boxster motor 2.7

    Hi Guys

    I have 05 boxster that had a ims fail and made a mess of the motor,because I bought the car used Porsche will only cover 25% of what the dealer quoted me to replace the motor.I am looking for a complete good running engine that will get my car back on the road.

    any help would be great

    We have been doing quite a few of these motors lately and have had good luck just going thru them and replacing the IMS shaft with Porsches newest version. PM if you want some more info

    I found a 2007 2.7 motor does anyone out there know if it will swap without any headaches?
