    FS: 1972 Porsche 911 T Targa

    1972 Porsche 911 T Targa. VIN 9112111443 . Missing engine and gearbox. I bought it from California from an Early S member and have just not found the time to complete the project so I would like to offer it for sale at $20,000. The car shows no history of any major accidents although I found some bondo in the driver door and it looks like the rear engine latch panel was replaced. The hood is very nice but I do see two small rust bubbles in the front in the typical place. The sheet metal in the front trunk appears to be original and is in excellent condition. The original color was silver as one can see in the front trunk and the doors. The area around the torsion bar tubes is rust free - from the outside at least.     Although missing in the pictures I do have the passenger seat, the pedal cluster, brake calipers, and the oil tank. This car will need a fuel tank, when I got it the fuel must have been 10 years old and the inside was rusty. Great donor car if somebody is restoring an S Targa. Clear title for the car.

    I have a long block #6120049 correct for this '72 T MFI 2.4 ltr., located less than 200 miles north of Jupiter, FL. if buyer needs a motor.
