SOLD: @eBay -Koni front strut housings w/ dust shields, powder coated raised spindles

THESE PARTS ARE SOLD: Koni front strut housing pair with dust shields, powder coated and raised spindles

This is a very nice pair of Koni strut housings that have had the spindles raised 19mm and are powder coated. They include the dust covers and strut cartridge retaining nuts/collars. The housings and dust covers were bead blasted then professionally powder coated to match the Koni red color. They have a very sharp looking and durable finish. These housing have the 3.5” brake caliper spacing and use the wedge style ball joint pin.

The right Koni housing is part number 911.341.080.13 and was manufactured the 48 week of ‘73. The threaded spindle pin on this strut is 18mm diameter thread.

The left Koni housing is part number 911.341.925.01 and was manufactured the 22 week of ‘75. The threaded spindle pin on this strut is 16mm diameter thread.

The difference in the spindle thread diameter does not impact the function of the strut, but just a variation between the early and late Koni housings. Keep in mind you will need to purchase 1 each 16mm and 18mm front hub retaining nut. Pelican Parts carries these.

The spindles were raised 19mm and will fit 15” and larger Fuchs wheels. The brake line bracket was raised and the dust shields were shortened as well to correspond with the higher spindle height. This is the right way to lower your car while maintaining proper suspension geometry.
