FS: 901 ZF Limited Slip Differential

I have a 901 limited slip differential, currently installed in a 914/901 transmission. No pictures until I get it out of the transmission. If you want a 914 transmission let me know, I ll keep it together, if not I pull it. Easier to ship in a small box that way.

I have run it for the last 10 years in my auto-x 914, it is setup for a 40% lock. I have put a total of 60 minutes of use on it. No burn out started etc.... I am selling because I am switching transmissions for better power handling as I am moving up in engine size.

It can be setup to an 80% lock, Guard sells the parts to do it if you need that capabilities.

    Asking $1500 plus shipping.

I can send you pictures once I remove it from the transmission. It will be the bare LSD, I have a set of 108mm hubs I will toss in the deal. Not sure if they are the elusive ZF hubs or not. They are slightly longer than my other 100mm hubs.

    Any Questions let me know.IMG_0099.jpg

I was told there was one buyer in front of me. I agreed to purchase if the other buyer passed. Haven't heard anything yet...

I thought the 901 ZF LSDs had the 'male' splines?

This ZF was first used in '69 mag 901 transmissions, so was given a 901 number. It fits the 70/71 911, early 915 and all 914 transmissions. It will not fit SWB transmissions, they only accept the 904 ZF with male attachments for axle flanges.
