    Heat exchanger removal

Pulled my old, crusty, rusty heat exchangers last night. Only broke 4 studs. Each left
about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Hoping they come out clean...I'll be soaking with a 50/50 solution of
acetone and ATF. My question is...should I try to replace the other studs?
Or just run a nut up and down them to "clean them up"

    Thanks,
    Dave
