Source (or part no.) for inner rear window seat thing

    Hi all,

Does anyone know where I could find the cream-coloured seal/strip thing that goes along the upper inner edge of the rear window opening? It covers the edge of the headliner.

    Being fitted to a 65 build/66 MY 911.

I couldn't find it a PP or SM.

Crap, pretty sure I binned my Ivory pinch-weld for black when I coverted to a black headliner...

"Pinch-weld" that's the name of it - you can get it at a lot of places in black, white not so much, and ivory.. who knows. The usual suppliers such as Sierra Madre may keep it.

I don't know how close the colour would be, but white pinch-welt is very common on air-cooled VWs.
So it it available from many VW suppliers.

    I know CIP sells it

I bought a NOS set from member "Route66kix" a few months ago. He had several sets at the time. I'm trying to find the link.

Someone on eBay Germany had some for sale. If I can find the email communication I will post it. It was not expensive.

    Thanks Mark,

My trimmer has it in black, but it would be nice to keep this old car correct.
