    Scammers

Just got this from Early S member ecool, emails autoshop019@gmail.com and Phillip McCord heisable89@gmail.com

Another scammer. Been getting a lot of these on Pelican. be careful.

    Hello Shaun,

Thanks for writing. Yes I still have an original complete 1969 911E
MFI set-up in excellent shape and condition, ready to plug and pay.
I'm asking £950 GBP and I will be shipping via UPS or FedEx on a 4 - 5
working days delivery and will accept payment via Money Gram as my
PayPal is currently dormant. What's your complete shipping address?

    Many thanks again and regards,

    Phillip

Not to judge whether this is or isn't a scam, but for large ticket purchases, I'm pretty sure there are escrow agents who will hold the money until delivery. This is the main advantage to PayPal except PP goes one better and delivers the money instantly to the seller while still protecting the buyer. But if the PP account is "dormant" (and I cannot imagine why this would be) and the seller really wants to sell, he may be willing to work with one of these escrow agents.

I got one from Bernard Clifford regarding my WTB for extinguisher brackets...they all use the same wording as "Philip".
