    1969 Rear Window

    Gents

My car was originally equipped with tinted rear glass and defrosting elements. How many defrost elements should there be?

When I got the car, there were 19 elements which I know is from a later car. I believe I can find one locally but am not certain exactly what I need.

    Thanks
    Darren

    1969...Single stage 9. Two stage 19.
That is what I have on two original looking cars.

    Thanks Harvey

The swith on my dash is only a signle position, and I found the relay in the engine compartment harness. Seems only to have the red/white going to the window. Based on that, is it safe to say I should have the single stage glass?

Single position switch is usually a good indicator of single stage. It is a little unusual to replace the back window but it does happen....and the two stage seem to be more available...at least in my junk

I figured that was the best clue. The previous owner has several cars in various stages and had to partially assemble mine to ship and likely put the wrong window in. I will keep an eye out, thanks for the info.
