    FS: 911R Tall Inlet Manifolds

    Hi all

I have a pair of 911R inlet manifolds for sale. They are 98mm tall units for the 46mm webers. They are in excellent condition with absolutely no cracks anywhere, no corrosion, and steel fasteners still have some cad plating remaining. The ports are perfect also. They may have received a shot of rattle-can black at some time in their life, but I could be wrong. I have covered them in Gibbs Oil for preservation.

I'm asking $3,800. I'll wear the Paypal fees and cover shipping anywhere in the world.

These look great, John. We sold a set several months ago that we're in similar shape, although slightly more use, for $3,500. Your asking price is right on the money (no pun intended).

    Good luck with the sale

Why do they look like they have been notched, like injector clearance? Gled

Hi Jordan, thanks for confirming the price is about right... Researching these was hard work!

Hi Gled, no idea - but you're right, the look like they are there for clearance of some kind. The scallops are definitely 'part' of them and don't look to be machined separately. Hopefully someone here can explain?

The notches are for clearancing the air injection ports that were on some early heads beginning in 1968.

    Sadly I can't use these.

There must be someone with a special project...
