Solid Door seal correct 45 degree cut and glue.6

I am about to install the correct solid type seal on my 71, I know that I have to cut it in a 45 degree but I think it is not a clean cut, can any one show me the correct way to cut and glue this seal?
    Thank you.

There are several pictures of this, do a search, it is not a miter joint, the vertical run butts up against the horizontal run.

Ed is 100% correct. These are photos from a car that hasn't been on the road since 1980. The seals have dropped out of the slot but are original to the car. Passenger side and Drivers side.

The one piece tubular seals that Porsche sells/sold are mitered. These were all you used to be able to get but are incorrect.

There is a lot of information here if you use the search function.

I don't think thats the same solid type of seal that I post it.
I have search for a picture of one install with no luck. If someone can post a close up picture of one install it will be great!

Original seals on a 73S. Well, the 73S that won the national preservation award at PCA Parade this year....

The seal you are showing is the same as on my '69 911T and 912. Both are NOT mitered. Top horizontal run buts to the corner. The rear vertical run then buts up to the top rubber, as the other photos show.
