    New to me 911T. General observations

    Hi All;

    I recently purchased a 1971 911T. There are almost no records with the car. I have researched the vin, engine code and color plate. I'd like to post some pictures and ask for general comments about what you see are non-stock features. Here is my first picture. What I see is:
    -Non factory radio
    -AC (Factory, dealer added, or aftermarket, I am not sure)
    -Non factory seats. Possibly 944 variant.
    -Late model speedometer.

    Anything else jump out?

    Here is a picture of the outside. I thought the wheels might be McAfee, but they don't have the raised center hub.

    Thank you in advance. Name: IMG_6400.jpg

    Thank you. I'll take some pictures of the inside of the doors. It looks to me like they are from a mid 80's car.

    Shifter appears to be non original. And it could be the angle of this particular shot, but the steering columns surround with the wiper switch stalk looks different from oem.
    Cheers!

    Blue coil, shift knob, door panels, clutch pedal too high, may not be adjusted right.

    Not factory air, probably VPC or Koolaire. look like mid eighties 911 'throne' seats. Looks decent from what we can see, how's the bottom?

    Bottom looks very solid. There is evidence of some repair work on the car. The passenger front fender looks to be a non factory item due to poor door gap, ill fitting light bucket and front turning signal lens. The underside looks perfect, but again not sure if the repair also included undercoating. I'll post some pictures of the bottom later this week. I thought I would have fun driving the car but I'm actually having more fun trying to figure out the car's history. Thanks for the replies.
