I can't help but wonder if that's not John Flynn's ex car? Provided he doesn't still own it, which I don't know.

Not the name in the members list.
Henk always seems to have very nice cars. He always seems to have Kardex for them as well; he goes that extra step. While due diligence is always required, I think that anyone looking for a car would do well checking what he has available.

Yes, the car is the real deal... early S built in September 1966.
Since it is on the forum now I'll state an asking price: $185,000.- obo.
I just got the car and am still working on the write up/description, what I quickly can say is the following, except for a tiny brush touch up in the gutter under the engine deck lid the car is original paint, has a few dings and dangs but very minor, obviously stone chips on the front hood. We just cleaned the car, no color sanding was done. The interior is completely original with good patina.
Original chrome and trim, original early Fuchs (5x). Only minor, mainly surface rust can be found, original floors and front pan, very minor bubbles on lower corner driver door.
Color is Polo Red, see copy of kardex below that I just received from Germany.
The car is a genuine California two owner car, DMV records from 67 on to document this.
The Vin is 306110S and according to the kardex it left the factory on October 4th 1966.
Runs and drives great with the original Weber 40IDS's.
The engine is matching to the kardex however the transmission is a 1967 number, but.... the good news is it is the correct 901/02 for the S with the limited slip and the early Nadella shafts!!
Will be happy to provide more info, let me know.
