Is it correct a Chrome shift stick on a 1971 T with Comfort kit?
Or it should be black?

Chrome.

I believe only the 72 (915) was black, but I'm not even 100% sure on that.

Yes, that appears to be the correct shifter. The 72 shifters looked just the same, as well. They were much different under the base, though.

It should be chrome. The 72 shifter was chrome, too
