    Colour change affecting Value?

I restoring a 1973 911E and was wondering how I will affect my car's value if I change the from the original viper green to irish green or gulf orange?

How original is the car going to be? If you are restoring to as original condition then as GS says don't do it. If you've changed the engine or done other permanent mods then do what you like.

Original paint is only original once. Unless I really hated the color I wouldn't change the original paint of the car. Unless it was too rusty underneath and needed major repair/modifications.

...and Viper Green, lots of people who would want that, over Irish Green.

Seems that viper green is the way to go then! Is it true that in 73 the wheel wells and undercarriage was painted body colour?
